CDCP Plan Now Accepted at Mountview Denture Clinic North Vancouver
Starting May 1st, Mountview Denture Clinic North Vancouver is excited to announce that we will be accepting the CDCP plan for our patients who have applied and received a welcome package from SUNLIFE, including a unique ID number. This comprehensive plan covers a wide range of oral health care services designed to maintain the health of your teeth and gums and prevent or treat various oral health issues and diseases.
Covered Services
The CDCP plan includes coverage for removable prosthodontic services aimed at replacing missing teeth. The services covered under this plan include:
- Complete dentures, including standard and temporary dentures
- Denture repairs, relines, and rebases
- Placement of lining in dentures to condition oral tissues (for comfort and healing)
- Complete immediate and overdentures (requires preauthorization)
- Initial placement of partial dentures (requires preauthorization)
- Replacement of partial dentures
Important Information
Service Fees
The CDCP will only cover oral health care services within the plan at the established CDCP fees. These fees differ from the suggested fee guides provided by provincial and territorial oral health associations that many providers use to charge for oral health services. Patients covered under the CDCP may be required to pay any additional charges directly to the oral health provider.
Policy on Existing Dentures
For existing clients, any dentures obtained outside of the CDCP are not considered when applying frequency limits or other plan rules. As the CDCP is a new program, it does not initially have a claims history for clients. Therefore, clients may be eligible for new dentures under the CDCP, even if they already have dentures.
